Did You Know?

About 85% of the books published by U.S. and Canadian publishers are nonfiction; only 15% or so are fiction. So your chances of getting a nonfiction manuscript accepted for publication are several times greater than your chances of getting a novel published.

Many more titles are published in sociology and economics than in any other nonfiction category. Technology and science are popular fields; so are history and religion.

PAYMENT AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Be sure to email us before sending your manuscript to discuss the services you're requesting as well as the schedule.

Payment Schedule

For most jobs we require full payment up front before we can begin work. On lengthy projects—like ghostwriting projects—we may work out a payment plan where you give us an initial retainer to get the job started, then pay in monthly installments.

Payment Methods

We accept personal checks, certified checks, and money orders (all must be in U.S. dollars).

If you prefer to pay by credit card or bank transfer, you can use PayPal. To make a PayPal payment, click on the icon below. In filling out PayPal's form, please include your name in the "Payment For:" field to make it easier for us to track your payment. If asked for our email address, use admin@cascobayliteraryservices.com.

Manuscript Preparation and Submission

We work with both hardcopies and electronic files and can discuss the most appropriate submission method when you contact us.

Manuscripts must be properly formatted: double spaced (not 1.5), at least 12-point type, at least 1-inch margins on all sides, about 250 words per page.

If you're providing a hardcopy, send the manuscript and a check for the amount due (unless you've made a PayPal payment) to:
